Process Engineer Water Treatment Lead
SolveNow, Inc.
If you want to move from coursework into real infrastructure work, this is the kind of role that builds your engineering foundation fast. You'll own entire project cycles—from initial planning through final bid documents—working on systems that serve actual communities.
Your day-to-day includes leading drinking water process evaluations, designing treatment systems (coagulation, filtration, membrane, disinfection), selecting equipment, coordinating with vendors and regional offices, and reviewing other engineers' work. You'll produce piping diagrams, specifications, 3D models, and support construction phases. This is hands-on design work that connects classroom theory to real-world infrastructure.
You need a bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering. If you've done internships, coursework in water systems, or capstone projects touching treatment design, that helps. Portfolio work showing design thinking matters more than years on the job.
To apply, submit your resume and portfolio through CareerJumpShip. SolveNow offers remote work, so location isn't a barrier—you'll work from anywhere in the US.
