SolveNow, Inc.

Remote· senior

This is a senior leadership role in high-voltage transmission engineering. You'll move into a position where your technical decisions shape real infrastructure projects. If you want to go beyond individual contributor work early in your career, this shows what that path looks like.

You'll lead substation design work at the 765kV transmission level, managing other engineers and presenting technical solutions directly to clients. The work includes developing advanced engineering approaches to complex problems, overseeing project execution, and ensuring quality across the full scope—from design through procurement and construction. You'll work across substations, transmission lines, renewables integration, and HVDC systems.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience. You should be ready to supervise teams, handle technical validation, and interface with clients at a professional level. A portfolio showing substation or transmission design experience will strengthen your application.
