Senior Electrical Engineer - Protection Applications

SolveNow, Inc.

Remote· senior

This is a leadership role that sits at the intersection of technical depth and team impact. You'll move from individual contributor work into overseeing electrical design projects across multiple industries—power systems, healthcare facilities, transportation, manufacturing. It's the kind of step that teaches you how engineering work actually gets delivered.

Day-to-day, you'll lead design teams through complex projects, perform power system studies up to 500-kV, and develop protection settings coordination. You'll handle design reviews, work with project managers on scope and budgets, and mentor less experienced engineers. The work is detailed and technical: you'll create relay configuration files, develop design basis documentation, and ensure electrical plans meet standards and client goals.

This role works for you if you have a strong foundation in electrical engineering (degree in EE or related field), experience with power systems, and the ability to lead a team. A portfolio showing past design work or system studies will help. Remote work means you can be anywhere in the US.
