Our ideal candidates must be able to travel 50% of the time to countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. A valid passport is required for the contract. This is an initial 6 month contract with the potential for further extension based on the project requirements. Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure Design: Architect and implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS to meet business needs. Security Best Practices: Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards in all cloud operations. Cloud Migration Expertise: Lead cloud migration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime. Cost Optimization: Analyze and implement strategies for cost-effective cloud resource management. API Gateway Management: Manage API gateways to facilitate efficient communication between services. Data Transformation: Oversee data transformation processes to support integration with various systems. Third-Party Integrations: Collaborate with multiple third-party services to enhance system capabilities. Documentation Required for this position • Updated CV highlighting telecom/digital transformation experience • Professional certifications such as AWS, PMI, ITIL • Portfolio of previous projects • References from the telecom industry Requirements AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect or DevOps certifications are essential. 5+ Experience in Telecom/Digital Transformation Projects: Proven track record in relevant projects is non-negotiable. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Business Process Modelling: Proficiency in modeling tools and techniques. BSS Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Business Support Systems is essential. Agile Methodologies: Understanding of agile practices and frameworks to facilitate project delivery. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel 50% of the time to countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. A valid passport is required for the contract.
