Cloud Linux Engineer 672

Warrenton, VA, US

If you're starting your career and want real responsibility with infrastructure that matters, this Cloud Linux Engineer role puts you on a team building cloud systems for enterprise AI and data science work. You'll work in production environments from day one, which means your code and configurations actually run real operations.

Your day-to-day includes managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, keeping Linux systems patched and running, maintaining databases like RDS and MySQL, and troubleshooting problems when they come up. You'll also work with identity and access controls, security configurations, and learn how enterprise teams coordinate on infrastructure projects. This is hands-on technical work, not theory.

You're a fit if you have production experience with AWS and Linux, some scripting knowledge, and the ability to solve problems methodically. A background in computer science, systems engineering, or related fields helps. A portfolio showing your Linux or cloud work is a plus. You need to be self-motivated and comfortable working with other technical teams.
