Staff Software Developer (Remote US)

This is a lead-level engineering role at a company solving real problems in global healthcare. Smile Digital Health built a FHIR-based platform that helps healthcare organizations collect and exchange data across 20+ countries. As a Staff Software Developer, you'd be working on infrastructure and systems that directly impact how patient data flows through health systems.

You'd own the technical direction on core platform features, mentor other engineers, and work on the data liberation system that's central to what Smile does. This means writing code that scales, making architectural decisions, and shaping how the team builds. It's a fully remote role, so you can be anywhere in the US.
