As a Solutions Engineer at ASAPP, you'll get real exposure to how startups win deals and ship products. You'll move between technical depth and customer problem-solving—two skills that compound throughout your career. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and sales, meaning you'll see the full picture of how software creates value.
Your main work: design and evolve the prototypes, sandboxes, and integrations that demonstrate ASAPP's AI platform (CXP and GenerativeAgent) to prospects. You'll build the infrastructure the Solution Engineering team uses every day. Most of your time goes to hands-on technical work—configuration, integration architecture, and proof-of-concept builds. You'll collaborate with a tight, skilled team that values clarity and execution over ego.
This fits you if you have a CS or engineering background, can write code cleanly, and enjoy working through ambiguous problems. You don't need 5 years of experience—you need curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn fast. A portfolio or GitHub showing actual projects will strengthen your application.

We are hiring a Solutions Engineer to build the infrastructure ASAPP's Solution Engineering team uses to win deals. You will design and evolve the prototypes, sandboxes, and integrations that bring CXP and GenerativeAgent to life for prospects. Most of your time will go to advanced configuration of our Customer Experience Platform (CXP), our Agentic AI for customer service, and to full-stack code that makes demos compelling. You will lean heavily on AI-assisted development with Claude Code, the Anthropic API, MCP servers, and tool-use patterns. Your output is prototype-grade, but must feel real enough to anchor an enterprise buying conversation. You may occasionally join customer meetings for a bespoke prototype, but customer-facing work is not the main expectation. This role suits an exceptional early/mid-career engineer with about three years of experience, a strong record of shipping, and comfort with ambiguity.
