If you want to move past GenAI theory and into real enterprise work early in your career, this is the role. CompassX is a consulting firm that actually builds AI-powered systems for Fortune 500 clients—not just talks about them. You'll design agentic AI architectures and implement them in production environments where your decisions matter immediately.
Your day-to-day: architect AI systems that solve concrete business problems, write and review code that powers those systems, and help clients understand what their AI actually does. You're not presenting slides or advising from the sidelines. You're orchestrating complex technical delivery across finance, pharma, and other industries where mistakes are expensive and solutions need to work.
You should have a solid foundation in software engineering, systems design, or a related field. A portfolio or GitHub showing real projects—especially anything involving APIs, system design, or data—helps. You don't need AI papers or five years of experience. You need to think clearly about trade-offs and want to learn in a real consulting environment.

This isn't a slide-deck role or a pure advisory role. You'll be orchestrating and building agentic AI systems in real enterprise delivery environments - and helping clients understand what they've actually got. At CompassX, we're delivering AI-enabled solutions for some of the most complex enterprise clients in financial services, pharma, and beyond. We need someone who has moved past the hype and is actively building with the tools - agents, orchestration frameworks, LLM integrations, and the data infrastructure that makes them work in production. This role sits at the leading edge of our AI practice. You'll shape how we deliver GenAI engagements and help define what good looks like for our clients.
