Service Technician, Chillers - Traveling (Veritas)

Ambient Enterprises

Remote

If you want hands-on experience with real building systems from day one, this is a direct path. You'll work on chiller startup and commissioning—the critical process that makes complex HVAC equipment actually perform as designed. That's practical engineering work that matters.

Your job: specialize in starting up and commissioning chiller systems, mostly for data centers. You'll also work with air handlers, custom DX equipment, and rooftop systems. This role is based remotely but involves travel to client sites across Canada and the US. You'll work alongside experienced technicians at Ambient Enterprises, part of the Veritas Solutions Group, which focuses on making building systems work efficiently from construction through operation.

This fits you if you have a background in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field. Hands-on aptitude matters more than perfect grades. You should be comfortable traveling and learning multiple chiller technologies from different manufacturers.
