DevOps Engineer
Actian
DevOps work sits at the center of how modern software gets built and deployed. As a DevOps Engineer at Actian, you'd own the systems and processes that keep engineering teams moving fast. This is a role where your work has immediate, visible impact—the kind of responsibility that early-career engineers often don't get until later.
The core of the job is hands-on: you'll manage Linux and Windows servers, handle system maintenance and patching, write automation with Ansible, and work with Git. You'll also support internal audits and compliance efforts, which teaches you how real enterprises think about security and reliability. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and security teams.
This role expects 3-5 years of experience, so it's not entry-level. You need strong Linux and Windows system administration skills and some background in automation and operational compliance. If you've worked through internships or early jobs managing infrastructure, contributed to automation projects, or built home labs with Linux, this is a realistic next step.
To apply, submit your resume and a brief note about your infrastructure experience through CareerJumpship. Be specific about systems you've managed and tools you've used.
