Data Lead Architect

Global Alliant

Remote· senior

This is a senior architecture role that puts you in charge of how data moves through large systems. You'll own the design of enterprise data warehouses and cloud-based solutions, which means you're not just writing code—you're making decisions that shape how an entire organization uses information.

Your day involves data modeling using approaches like Medallion Architecture and dimensional modeling, working with healthcare data standards like FHIR and HL7, and leading teams through the transition from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms like AWS. You'll guide how data gets organized, standardized, and moved between systems, and you'll mentor others on the same.

This fits you if you have hands-on experience with data architecture, cloud platforms, and data modeling. Background in healthcare tech is a plus but not required if you can demonstrate strong fundamentals in system design and data management. A portfolio showing past architecture work or data projects helps.
