Data Platform Architect

Remote· senior

This senior role is a stretch opportunity if you've spent 3–5 years building data or AI systems and want to move into architecture. You'll design platforms that shape how a global consulting firm handles AI and analytics at scale—real influence on technical direction.

Your work covers end-to-end architecture for Generative AI platforms, MLOps, and advanced analytics. You'll define standards and best practices, ensure designs stay secure and scalable, and partner with data engineers, ML teams, and business stakeholders to keep multiple initiatives aligned. It's less about hands-on coding and more about deciding how systems fit together.

This fits you if you have 8+ years in data or AI engineering, at least 3–5 in an architectural or lead role, and solid experience with Generative AI. You should understand how to build secure, enterprise-grade solutions. A portfolio showing platform work or architectural decisions—not just individual projects—helps your case.

The role is fully remote and based with a UK consulting firm. Apply through CareerJumpShip with your resume, a brief note on your biggest platform design or architecture decision, and links to your work (GitHub, blog posts, case studies if you have them).
