This is a senior leadership role that skips the typical middle-manager track. You'll lead a real engineering team from day one — not shadowing, not assisting. If you graduated recently and want to move fast into hands-on leadership, this is the kind of move that changes your trajectory.
You'll coach engineers through regular feedback, own the technical direction of your team's work, and translate product goals into realistic plans. You'll break down complex projects, estimate and prioritize with Product, and maintain engineering standards through code reviews and mentoring. Beyond team management, you'll contribute hands-on to features, refactoring, and production issues. You'll also collaborate across the organization with other Technical Leads and Product Managers to coordinate dependencies and improve how the company builds software.
This role expects experience with AI-first development. You'll use AI daily for implementation, code reviews, testing, debugging, and architecture decisions. You should have a strong technical foundation, the ability to communicate clearly with non-engineers, and genuine interest in growing other engineers.
