Staff Engineer, Platform Storage
fanaticsfbg
If you want to own critical infrastructure from day one, this is the move. As a Staff Engineer on Fanatics' platform storage team, you'll design and maintain the systems that power a platform serving over 100 million sports fans worldwide. This is a lead-level role—you'll shape architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and see your work directly impact how fans buy gear, collect digital assets, and place bets across multiple products.
You'll take on platform storage challenges: designing reliable, scalable systems that handle millions of transactions, building infrastructure that serves commerce, collectibles, and betting products, and working across teams to improve performance and reliability. This isn't theoretical work—your code runs in production for real users, every day.
This role fits engineers who studied computer science, software engineering, or related fields and have hands-on experience with backend systems, databases, or infrastructure. A portfolio or GitHub showing systems work is valuable. You should be curious about how large platforms actually work and ready to grow into a leadership position.
