New York, US· $0K – $230K

If you want to break into institutional investing right out of school, this role puts you inside how professional investors actually make decisions. You'll work at Guidepoint, a research firm that serves hedge funds and asset managers. The job is hybrid in New York, and it's designed for someone who knows their way around financial markets and enterprise software.

Your day-to-day: track public software companies by reading earnings reports, SEC filings, and industry news. You'll create and run teleconferences where Guidepoint brings in real experts to discuss trends and opportunities. You'll also attend industry conferences to host panels for clients. It's the kind of work that teaches you how professional investors think, not just what they think.

This fits you if you studied finance, economics, or engineering with a focus on tech. You should be comfortable reading 10-Ks, following quarterly earnings, and understanding business models. If you have a portfolio project or thesis on any software company, bring it. You need a bachelor's degree minimum.
