Software Engineer - Storage
Backblaze
Backblaze runs the storage infrastructure that powers half a million customers across 175 countries. As a Software Engineer on the Storage team, you'd be building the systems that actually keep that data safe and accessible. For a recent grad, this means real responsibility early on—not busywork, but code that matters at scale.
You'll work on the platform behind B2 Object Storage and Computer Backup products. Your job is to help keep customer data reliable and performant. You'll touch core storage systems, collaborate with a team that's shipped to enterprise and individual users alike, and learn how companies actually operate cloud infrastructure.
This role fits you if you have a computer science background or equivalent experience, understand how databases and file systems work at a basic level, and can write clean code. A portfolio or GitHub history helps. You don't need to know Backblaze's stack already—they hire for aptitude, not just keywords.
To apply, visit CareerJumpShip and submit your resume and a link to your work. Keep your note short: tell them why storage systems interest you and what you've built before.
