This is a solid early-career move: you'll work on consumer-facing features at scale, collaborate with experienced engineers, and ship code that reaches millions of users.
Your work will span web and mobile. You'll help design and build features that let communities form, grow, and discover each other more efficiently. The Discovery Team owns a wide range of systems and features across Twitch's app experience. You'll tackle real problems alongside teammates who are genuinely interested in solving things together.
This role fits you if you have a foundation in computer science or software engineering, can write clean code, and want to learn how large platforms actually work. Portfolio work, internships, or coursework that demonstrates your ability to build client-side experiences will help your application stand out.

About the Role The Discovery Team in App Experiences manages a wide array of features and systems to help communities form, grow, and thrive on Twitch. These features let people participate in their favorite communities and discover new ones more efficiently. We work hard to bring novel opportunities to the world of streaming both individually and in collaboration with similar streamers. Our consumer facing features span both web and mobile surfaces, we’re working hard to build fast, reliable, and easy to understand client-side experiences. This position is primarily focused across the entire stack (React and Golang) but will lean initially more toward backend systems, with future efforts moving more client-side. This position is in San Francisco, CA.
