Senior Software Engineer - Data Processing
truveta
Truveta builds the platform that connects healthcare data across providers. As a Senior Software Engineer in Data Processing, you'd work on systems processing healthcare information at scale—the kind of infrastructure that directly supports researchers, clinicians, and patients. If you want to move past typical early-career work into genuinely complex technical problems, this is a path to get there.
You'll design and build distributed data pipelines, develop ETL solutions, and solve the hard problems that come with processing sensitive healthcare data across multiple systems. This isn't template work. You'll touch the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and support. The role requires you to balance creative problem-solving with the legal and regulatory guardrails that protect patient information.
This fits you if you have a computer science background, experience or clear interest in distributed systems, and you're genuinely curious about how data moves through large platforms. A portfolio or projects showing backend work, pipeline development, or systems thinking will help your application stand out.
