Senior Software Engineer, Auto Labelling
waabi
Waabi is building the AI systems that power autonomous trucks and robotaxis. As a Senior Software Engineer in Auto Labelling, you'd work on the core infrastructure that trains and deploys computer vision models at scale. This is a chance to own meaningful technical work early in your career, not just contribute to it.
Your day-to-day: architect and maintain the pipeline that handles large-scale data labeling and model training. You'll orchestrate the full workflow—from data ingestion to evaluation to deployment—using distributed computing frameworks. You'll partner with ML researchers to get new model architectures into production and collaborate across a multidisciplinary team. This role demands someone who can think in systems, not just write code.
You should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, strong fundamentals in software engineering, and real experience with distributed systems or large-scale data pipelines. If you've shipped production code, worked with ML workflows, or built tools to handle serious data volume, you're in the ballpark. A portfolio or GitHub with your work helps.
