Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer (100% Remote Germany)
InnoCraft
This role puts you in charge of the cloud infrastructure behind Matomo, an analytics platform used by enterprises and governments worldwide. You'll move quickly from implementation work into architecture and strategy—the kind of ownership that typically takes years to reach. If you want to see how your decisions affect uptime and scale across thousands of users, this is the move.
You'll architect and evolve the SaaS platform, set infrastructure standards, drive reliability and automation, and own cost optimization across the system. You'll report to the Cloud DevOps Team Leader and work across engineering, product, and security teams. This is hands-on work, but strategic—you're not just maintaining systems, you're shaping their future.
This fits engineers with strong cloud fundamentals, experience in infrastructure or platform work, and a track record of thinking in systems. You should be comfortable with automation, scaling problems, and the kind of decisions that ripple across an organization. A portfolio showing past infrastructure projects or open-source contributions helps.
