You'll manage the team building Hinge's developer platform: CI/CD pipelines, observability tools for engineers, the infrastructure for spinning up services, and increasingly, AI-native tooling and agent platforms. This isn't about managing people only—it's about removing friction from how 100+ engineers work every day. You'll shape the technical strategy for Platform enablement and own outcomes across velocity, quality, and developer experience.
This role fits engineers or technical leads who've shipped products, understood deployment pain, and want to solve problems at scale. You should understand the full development lifecycle and care about both the human side (what makes engineers effective) and the technical side (what tools actually work).

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Engineering Enablement within Platform. This role owns the team's strategy, roadmap, and execution while ensuring the work delivers meaningful value to engineering teams across the company. You will identify the highest-leverage opportunities to improve how engineers build, test, validate, and adopt platform capabilities, and you will lead the team that turns those opportunities into durable systems and practices. This is a hands-on platform leadership role with broad cross-functional reach. You will partner closely with product engineering teams and adjacent platform teams to ensure Engineering Enablement is building the right capabilities, driving adoption, and improving outcomes rather than just shipping tools.
