Senior Bookkeeper
WOW Remote Teams
If you're detail-oriented and want to build real expertise early in your career, this Senior Bookkeeper role offers the chance to own meaningful financial operations. You'll work with multiple clients in professional services, where clean books directly impact business decisions. That's the kind of work that matters.
Your day involves overseeing full-cycle bookkeeping: general ledger maintenance, chart of accounts management, transaction coding, and reconciliations. You'll manage accounts receivable and payable workflows, process payroll through platforms like Gusto or ADP, and handle sales tax filings including U.S. and Canadian tax tools. You'll collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and support both clients and colleagues.
This role fits someone with strong accounting fundamentals, comfort with financial systems, and a track record of accuracy. If you've studied accounting, finance, or business administration, or have hands-on experience with bookkeeping software and payroll platforms, you're a good candidate. Experience with Avalara, TaxJar, or Canadian sales tax is a plus but not required.
