Your day-to-day involves architecting backend services for AI-powered tools, building intelligent agents with frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain, and managing vector databases. You'll also optimize prompt workflows, integrate third-party AI APIs like OpenAI and Anthropic, and collaborate with frontend and product teams. This role treats AI engineering as a software problem, not a data science problem.
This fits engineers with at least 4 years of general software development (Node.js background preferred) and 2 years working hands-on with LLMs or AI applications. You should have real experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks, plus solid knowledge of vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate. If you've shipped backend systems and actually deployed AI integrations, you're a candidate.
