Your day involves writing backend and frontend code across Node, TypeScript, SQL, and React. You'll solve problems on the backend while staying connected to how the frontend works. You're not silo'd; you move between layers based on what the product needs. The role is based in Los Angeles with 3 days in-person per week, giving you both focused collaboration and flexibility.
This fits you if you have a computer science or related degree and can show code you've written—a GitHub repo, a portfolio project, or classwork. You don't need prior professional experience, but you need to be comfortable reading existing code, writing tests, and asking questions. Interest in backend systems is a plus.

Our stack includes Node, Typescript, and SQL, along with React. While TeamSnap is a remote-first company, this role requires candidates to be located in the greater Los Angeles region to work in-person 3 days a week. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate in-person with local teammates in the R&D organization while continuing to enjoy the flexibility of the hybrid culture. As an engineering team, we build applications that serve millions of users and some of the largest youth and amateur sports organizations in the world. Our team values collaboration in a remote culture, so we regularly participate in pair sessions and virtual team swarms to stay connected.
