Founding Product Manager

GPTZero

Manhattan, NY, US· $170K – $250K

If you want to shape a product from the ground up, this is the move. GPTZero is building the leading AI detection platform used by millions—educators, students, journalists, marketers, writers. As a founding PM, you'll own the product strategy and direction for a company working on something that matters: restoring trust and transparency as AI reshapes how we create and consume content.

You'll work with a team that has shipped at scale—people from Meta, Perplexity, AWS, Affirm, and research labs like Princeton and Caltech. Your job is to make product calls that stick, define what we build next, and own how our platform serves the people who depend on it. This isn't a PM role where you're executing someone else's vision. You're building the category.

You should have strong product judgment—the ability to think through user problems, weigh tradeoffs, and push back when needed. You don't need 10 years of experience. You need to think clearly and move fast. Background in tech, design, engineering, or policy all give you useful angles here.

Apply through CareerJumpship. Include your resume, a brief note on why this problem interests you, and any work or projects that show how you think about products.
