Working alongside some of the top Forensic Engineers in the world, this is an exciting opportunity on a small, prestigious team offers the ability to play a crucial role in the growth of the practice.</p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><p>· Analyze electrical systems, construction issues, and deficiencies.</p><p>· Develop expert opinions and identify responsible parties.</p><p>· Create comprehensive forensic engineering reports.</p><p>· Serve as a lead testifying expert in claims, arbitration, and litigation.</p><h3>Skills and Experience:</h3><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s or above preferred)</p></li><li><p>Professional Engineer License, multi-state preferred</p></li><li><p>3+ years of Forensic Engineering experience including Litigation Support and Drafting Expert Reports.</p></li><li><p>Experience as a testifying Expert Witness in court.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, including but not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>Knowledge of building electrical systems (power, lighting, communications, lightning protection, security) and industrial/manufacturing systems (process, chemical, water/wastewater, power, transmission lines, oil & gas).</p></li><li><p>Detailed knowledge of design, equipment specification, testing, commissioning procedures, and fire investigations</p></li></ul></li></ul><h3>---</h3><h3>What we offer:</h3><p>At HKA we recognize that our people are critical to our ongoing success.
