OpenAI is hiring a Customer Learning Program Lead to shape how organizations learn to use AI at scale. This is a lead-level marketing role on the Customer Education team, reporting into a group directly tied to OpenAI's core mission. For recent grads ready to own real responsibility early, this is a rare shot to influence a global learning strategy alongside the people building the technology.

You'll lead a team and own the full learning portfolio—from curriculum design to measuring real business impact for customers. The work spans strategy, team development, and building a portfolio that takes people from first learning to confident, skilled use of OpenAI tools. This isn't a support role; you're setting direction and owning outcomes.

This fits you if you have strong communication skills, some experience with learning design or program management, and genuine interest in how people adopt new technology. A background in education, training, operations, or product marketing helps. You should be comfortable with both the strategic side (what to teach and why) and the execution side (team leadership and measurement).

Within Customer Education, you will lead the enterprise learning program and team. You will set direction, develop the team, and build a clear, high-quality learning portfolio that moves customers from first learning to confident use and meaningful business impact. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Lead and develop a high-performing Customer Learning team. - Own the customer-facing Learn experience, curriculum, and program portfolio—from strategy through results. - Turn priority customer needs into role-based tracks, paths, and high-quality programs. - Make the portfolio easy to understand, with clear starting points, progression, and relationships among experiences. - Lead how learning reaches customers through owned and partner channels. - Use customer and product evidence to measure impact and decide what to build, scale, improve, defer, or stop. YOU MIGHT THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU: - Build strong teams, grow talent, and create accountability. - Shape education strategy from customer needs and turn it into programs with measurable impact. - Make clear portfolio choices about investment, capacity, and focus. - Turn complex learning into clear journeys customers can understand and use. - Reach customers through owned and partner channels, building trust across teams. QUALIFICATIONS Required - 10+ years in customer education, product education, digital learning, customer adoption, or a related field. - Substantial experience managing and developing a multidisciplinary customer education or learning team. - Experience building and scaling a customer-facing learning program or portfolio, including strategy, planning, resourcing, delivery, and measurable results. - Experience designing role-based learning and driving customer discovery and engagement across owned and partner channels. - Evidence that your work changed product use, adoption, or measurable customer value. - Excellent cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and curiosity about AI. Preferred - Experience with enterprise software, developer tools, AI, or another fast-moving field. - Experience serving global audiences through learning platforms, academies, or digital education programs.
