1755 Security Engineer

Softgic

Remote· senior

If you want to work on security problems that most engineers haven't seen yet, this role gets you there early. AI application security is becoming critical as companies deploy autonomous agents, and Softgic is building the platform. You'd own the security execution across the whole development lifecycle.

Your day involves threat modeling for AI-specific risks (prompt injection, tool misuse, secrets leakage), performing security reviews, defining controls, and working with engineering and product teams to catch vulnerabilities before they reach production. You'll also prep the platform for internal and external security audits. It's hands-on technical work, not meetings about security.

This fits engineers with 5+ years in application security, secure SDLC, or product security who understand modern auth, threat modeling, and want to get ahead of LLM and AI agent risks. A strong portfolio of security reviews or threat models helps. This is remote across the US.
